The Disney Interactive Scholarship for Outstanding Women in the Entertainment Arts & Engineering Program

The Disney Interactive Scholarship was established in 2015 to provide educational assistance through scholarships for recruitment of female students in the Entertainment Arts & Engineering program. The Disney Interactive Scholarship is intended for women who demonstrate academic achievement and are passionate about pursuing a career in the fields of videogame design, animation, game arts, game development, and special effects.

The scholarship consists of financial award of $10,000 (paid over four semesters during the student’s first and second year in the MEAE program) and a guaranteed paid Teaching or Research assistantship (which includes enrollment in the Graduate School’s tuition benefit program).

Application Information and Requirements:

  • Students applying for this scholarship must be admitted into the Master’s of Entertainment Arts and Engineering program, and will matriculate in the following Fall Semester.
  • Once a student has been admitted to the MEAE prgram, they will be notified they are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Applications will consist of a letter of intent, and the student will be notified of the award before the start of Fall semester

  • Students must be in “good standing”, maintain full time status and a 3.0 GPA while receiving the scholarship.

The Intel Scholarship for Outstanding Women in the Entertainment Arts & Engineering Program

The Intel Scholarship was established in 2015 to provide educational assistance through scholarships for recruitment of female students in the Entertainment Arts & Engineering program. The Intel Scholarship is intended for women who demonstrate academic achievement and are passionate about pursuing a career in the fields of videogame design, animation, game arts, game development, and special effects.

The scholarship consists of a financial award of $10,000.00 (paid over four semesters during the student’s first and second year in the MEAE program), a guaranteed paid Teach or Research assistantship (which includes enrollment in the Graduate School’s tuition benefit program), and a scheduled opportunity to meet with Intel employees in the student’s area of interest.
